Poet - a foolish occupation?

Internationally acclaimed poet MTC (Margie) Cronin will present a talk titled 'Poet - a foolish occupation?' on Wednesday 7 September, 2pm at Beerwah Library.

Margie's poetry first appeared in print in early 1993 and since then she has published hundreds of poems, a handful of short stories, and numerous reviews and essays in Australian and international journals and publications.  Her work has appeared around the world in many languages, and she has won or been shortlisted for numerous poetry prizes. She has already published ten collections of her work, with a further four on the way.

Margie was born in Merriwa in the Hunter Valley in 1963, grew up in Caloundra and currently lives in Maleny.
