****URGENT UPDATE** Unfortunately update on Brisbane domestic violence rally Postponed owing to severe weather warning

We were all shocked by the events of the past week where 1 child and 2 women were murdered. This year 28 Queenslanders, including 12 children, have died in domestic / family violence related incidents. It is time to say Enough.

A rally will be held  Thursday 17th September at Queens Park George Street Brisbane

This rally will be a peaceful gathering to remembers those who have died this year in Queensland in domestic / family  violence related homicides. It is also an opportunity for Queenslanders to stand together to say Enough..domestic violence has no place in a civilised society. We want Zero Tolerance to domestic violence.

We have several noted speakers and singers who will speak and perform at this event. The program is now been finalised.

We ask people to wear black and bring a red rose as a symbol of remembrance.

Annastacia Palaszczuk - Premier of Queensland
Lawrence Springborg - Queensland Opposition Leader
Police Commissioner - Ian Stewart.
