Sunshine Coast Libraries will celebrate ME CFS FM (ME Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia) Awareness week 2011 on Tuesday 17 May at 10am at Caloundra Library.
Managed by the Find a Cure Club, this year’s theme is REST TO RECOVER. The Find a Cure Club is a support service for people with ME Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.  The group is based on the Sunshine Coast.

Member for Caloundra and Shadow Minister for Health, Mark McArdle will open the event. During his presentation he will be presented with a copy of ‘Lost Voices from a hidden illness’ – a lavishly illustrated A4 landscape book on severe ME – compiled, edited and designed by Natalie Boulton.
A series of pillows have been specially designed to raise awareness of the importance of rest when coping with ME CFS and FM.

These large European sized pillows will carry the clear message that we need REST TO RECOVER and will be used as an interactive display by the children during story time.

There will be balloons and stickers provided for children along with some colouring in projects.

Positioned throughout the library will be stands and displays carrying information about current health initiatives and Worldwide Research Agenda's for CFS FM and ME.
International ME CFS FM Awareness week 2011 is from 8 to 14 May 2011.
