'Roses - permanence has something that fades'
Ursula Kelm is a German photographer who was an artist-in-resident in Noosa in 2001. Ursula returns to Noosa with her latest work ' Roses' an obsessive cycle of some 400 plus photographs with 'the image of the rose as something special brought forth by nature and into the realm of opposites and bewilderment Because photography singles out and freezes exactly this moment, fixed it is in every sense of the word, the photographer attests once again to the relentless passing of time.

Ursula will also be exhibiting her series of c-print photographs depicting the creation of the world according to Ovid. "In the beginning there was nothing…."
This exhibition opens on Saturday 3rd April at 2pm along with Heather Winter's exhibition Wild Fear and Virginia Luhrs exhibition 'Drift".
