Seniors Week 'Garden Parties'

Caloundra City seniors will have a chance to take a stroll down memory lane with a series of Garden Parties to be held at the Landsborough Museum as part of Seniors Week 007 from Monday 20th August to Friday 24th August inclusive. 
The Garden Parties will take place from 10am till 12 noon, with different entertainment each day between 10.30 & 11.30am. this could include a musical display by the Landsborough State School, Poetry reading, the Caloundra Rise Choir plus much more.  Sgt Peter will be wearing his 1886 Moreton Regiment Colonial Infantry Uniform & playing his old 78's.   Refreshments will be served by the volunteers of Landsborough Museum.  Come along in period costume or just smart casual.
Cost for these Garden Parties will be $2.00 per person, which will include a scrumptious morning tea & entry into the Museum.  We will be limiting numbers to 50 per day so if your group would like to attend, please phone the Museum on 5494 1755 or email us.  Seniors Week is an annual community event sponsored by the Department of Communities.

Landsborough Historical Museum community based organisation which looks after the Caloundra City's heritage. We have many items in our collection that have been donated or on loan from the families of the pioneers of the area. We also trace the family history of the pioneers & their families. The heritage of the area is being recorded & saved for future generations.
The Museum is open Thursday to Tuesday, (9am to 3pm)
