The more mature members of the Noosa community are invited to join in Seniors Week celebrations on Wednesday, August 24th, when Noosa Council will host a morning of fitness-oriented activities on Main Beach, from 10 am to 12 noon.
Staged in front of the Noosa Heads Surf Lifesaving Club, the event will include :
laughter yoga - facilitated by local resident Susan Brown
kayakilates and surfilates - a new program developed by former World Pro-am Surfing Champion Merrick Davis, of Learn to Surf
light and easy wellness fitness program and
dance through the ages - a fun form of activity, dancing to some well known tunes from the Twenties through to the 60s and 70s, facilitated by Fitness Rox.
Participants should come prepared to kick off their shoes, and (in the case of kayakilates and surfilates) even get a bit wet with Merrick.
