Matinee Performance of Showcase

Get ready for fantastic entertainment and fun as Noosa Arts Theatre presents three performances of Showcase on 27 September and 4 October.  Due to popular demand, Noosa Arts has added an extra performance on 4 October at 2pm with matinee tickets $25 adults, $15 children (no food or drink included).

There will be full on singing, dancing and comedy ranging from the exquisite and subtle to the bizarre and outrageous.

Singers include star of Bronhill, Gail Evans; Anna Quayle, home after professional  engagements in London, Carolyn Pattenden and Travis McFarlane whose singing in Tribute wowed audiences; Andrew Healey a popular Irish Murphy's singer and song writer; Andrew Kelly, one of the most beautiful tenor voices you will ever hear and Yvonne Woodlock, whose rendition of Vilia is a pure delight.  Annie Jackson combines her singing with magic playing of the saxophone.

Showcase stars amazingly talented 12 year old Libby Hendrie, who played the lead role in The Good Shepherd's Annie.

Yvie Somerville, winner of best actress award at the One Act Play Festival, turns her talents to comedy as a kindergarten teacher and sings a comedy duet with Susan Dearnley, a back stage wiz with an extraordinary performing arts background.  John Woodlock and Margaret Courtney launch into the bizarre with The Masochism Tango which builds to the outrageous with Matt Dunstan as 'Melony Brests' and Carly Partridge, one of the funniest women to ever hit the stage doing 'If you could see her' with Ian Mackellar.

Dancing is full on with choreography by Amanda Harvey and some scintillating belly dancing by Summer Bowen.

But there is more.  For $35 you will enjoy a glass of champagne on arrival and a supper at interval at both evening performances.

Come and enjoy yourself and help Noosa Arts finance making your community theatre more comfortable.  More toilets are on the way, when the money is there!
