Launch into spring with Go Bush!
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) is presenting another exciting "Go Bush" nature-based family activity program on the Sunshine Coast during the coming holidays.
>From 13 to 23 September, join a ranger to explore some of the fascinating natural and cultural features at Noosa, Mapleton, Kondalilla Falls and Glass House Mountains national parks and at Kenilworth State Forest.
Ranger Cheryl Thomson said the Go Bush activities gave locals and visitors the chance to experience spring's colourful explosion in the Sunshine Coast's spectacular natural areas.
"We have night walks for the adventurous, wildlife for the curious and fun activities for the children. Come on out and see what spring in the bush is all about," Miss Thomson said.
"Some new activities like 'Great Walk - Sneak peak' and 'Wildflower Wander' will book fast, as with the favourites 'like Snakes Alive' and 'Starlight, starbright'!
The Go Bush program offers a range of activities for all ages, costing from $5.15 a person.
Bookings are essential. For program details and bookings, phone QPWS on 1300 723 684. A full list of activities can be found at www.brisbaneforestpark.qld.gov.au
