That’s it – we’re done, there are no more tickets available for any of our Rocky Horror shows!! Tickets are NOT available at the door – please don’t turn up…
In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad & Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr Frank-N-Furter, a transvestite scientist. We will be providing audience participation packs so you can really experience the whole hullabaloo (glow sticks for the "There's a light" scene, newspapers to keep the rain off, the possibilities are endless).
What? A movie? Why is a theatre group doing a movie?
The director has been pestered time and again, “When are you going to do Rocky?”, “Why aren’t you doing Rocky? Everyone would love to see / do / be in that!”
The performing rights for the Rocky Horror Show (Musical) are simply not available for the foreseeable future. So we are going to do the next best thing: Show the movie and act it out in front of the screen. Almost just like they’ve been doing it for years in New York.
How the h*** is that going to work?
We will rehearse just as much for this as any other CTP production and present a fabulous show, encouraging audience participation at every turn.
Lyrics will be surtitled (just like subtitles but above so you can see them) and the audience will be encouraged to sing along.
We will be providing audience participation packs so you can really experience the whole hullabaloo (glow sticks for the “There’s a light” scene, newspapers to keep the rain off, the possibilities are endless).
If I’m coming to see the show, what do I do?
Find something outrageous to wear, and slather on that tacky makeup. Audience participation will be strongly encouraged. Bring drinks and snacks and enjoy!
What is a Participation Pack?
On your table there will be a goodie bag full of items like newspaper, glow sticks, cards, etc., etc., which you will be directed to use at appropriate moments in the movie.
