A memorable weekend of fine music.  The Independent Theatre at Eumundi is proud to announce the Sunshine Coast debut performance of the Sound of Strings Symphony Orchestra. 

Newly formed, this orchestra includes some of the finest musicians banded together under a brand new banner.  Noted conductor, Adrian King, will guide the Sound of Strings through a varied program ranging from classical to popular works, such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Jamaican Rumba. 

Instrumental soloists include Sue Hunkin (oboe), Nick Davey (bass), Sharelle Guest (flute) and Mami Yamanaka (piano) plus delightful Brisbane soprano, Holly Morgan.

The Indee will host two recitals, 7.30 Saturday 6th and 5pm Sunday 7th September at the School of Arts Hall Theatre, corner of Memorial Drive and Pacey Street, Eumundi.  Tickets $28, concessions $25, groups of eight or more $20.

Ticket price includes finger foods and a glass of bubbly or orange juice.  The fully licensed Bio-Box Bar and Lyn's Coffee Shop will both be open and drinks and snacks may be taken into the auditorium.
