High school students will be able to celebrate the end of term in safety by attending an alcohol and drug free dance party at the Nambour Civic Centre on Friday September 19 from 6.30pm.

The party will be fully supervised by professional security officers and is open to young people aged between 14 and 18 with current high school identification.

The Spring Break Dance party is being organised by 'Evolution Music' which is owned and operated by Sunshine Coast TAFE Diploma of Music Business Student, Cape Tiene.

Cape said he decided to organise the event to give local young people the opportunity to party in a safe environment on the last day of term.

"On the night there will be three DJs and the gig will be headlined by Dingostyle who has performed in London and Ibiza," Cape said.

"We have also decided to donate 50 tickets and a percentage of the takings to the Surf Life Saving Association because they do a great job keeping our beaches safe."
The Spring Break Dance Party will be at the Nambour Civic Centre on Friday September 19 from 6.30pm.

Tickets are $25 at the door or $20 pre sale and are available from the Nambour Civic Centre, Moshpit Music Maroochydore and Free Time Surf in Coolum.
