SCYO is a non-profit (and charity listed) extension of musical education on the coast. We aim to provide the best possible orchestral music experiences for kids right here on the coast. 137 SCYO musicians, ranging in age from 6 - 20 years, will be gathering from all over the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland to perform at the concert. For some it will be their very first public concert. Musicians who play in SCYO audition for positions and are among some of the Sunshine Coast's most talented young musicians. They have all worked very hard at a recent weekend music camp and will be performing music of a high standard from the classics to well-known movie theme music.
David Guscott is a Toowoomba based instrument maker who is now selling his patented electric string instruments worldwide.
