Noosa Library turns the page on the future of reading and writing
Do books have a future? How will we be reading and writing in years to come? Will it be paper and pen, or e-books?

Chris Meade from London's Institute of the Future of the Book will be visiting Noosa Library on Monday 10 May at 10am to answer these questions and discuss where readers and writers go from here.

Chris, who wrote The Thoughts of Betty Spital, Pensioner Activist and Radical Granny, has been Director of London's Poetry Society, organising readings in such places as the London Zoo, the Millennium Dome, a gas platform, a high street and even in a solicitor's office.

The free event, brought to you by NeoGeoGraphy -- an initiative of Sunshine Coast Council's Creative Planning and Programs - will explore the future of reading and writing.

To secure your place at The Future of the Book forum, call Noosa Library on 5442 4411.
Bookings are essential.
