Eumundi's outdoor cinema 'Flicks in the Sticks' is heading poolside with a 'Dive-in' screening of the animated classic 'The Incredibles' (PG) on Friday 18 February at the Eumundi Aquatic Centre.

Flicks in the Sticks Director Trent Harvison says movie-goers can float in the pool and watch the film.  "With the balmy weather we've had of late, this has to be the perfect way to cool off and be entertained," he says.

"But if you don't want to get wet -- no problem, there are plenty of grassed areas at the pool to watch the movie on dry land".

The Eumundi Aquatic Centre doors will open to moviegoers from 6pm, with the screening starting around 7.00pmish. BYO floaties, noodles, lilos for the pool, or blankets and chairs for the land, or contact Flicks in the Sticks to reserve beanbags or inflatable double chairs for hire.

"The cost is only $7 per person, and free for children under 3 years of age," says Trent. "The price includes pool entry after 6pm"

Lifeguards will be on hand to assist with pool supervision.
"There will be a full canteen in operation on the night, along with the all-essential popcorn," Trent says, "So come along for what will be an 'Incredible' night!"

The Eumundi Aquatic Centre is on Memorial Drive, at the Bruce Highway end of Eumundi.

A bit about the movie...

Itching to get back into action, Bob gets his chance when a mysterious communication summons him to a remote island for a top secret assignment.
