The Irish Spectacular
Saturday 28th October @ 7:30pm
Standing ovations and demands for Encore after Encore have become the order of the day for this very popular singing trio. Brendan Locke formed his Three Irish Tenors group in the year 2000 to raise funds for Boystown in Engadine. Such was the response to the two capacity audiences in the majestic Sydney Town Hall that more concerts soon followed as did the requests for their recordings; five top selling CDs later, plus a great lived concert video, has seen them go from strength to strength.
Demands for quick-return concerts at numerous venues led to the inclusion of famous 'tenor' songs such as 'Blaze Away', 'Climb Ev'ry Mountain', You'll never walk alone', 'Just a closer walk with Thee' and the immortal 'Goodbye', from the White Horse Inn Ask Brendan what is the secret of this huge success and he will reply "I suppose we are singing the right songs in the right way paying attention to our diction and onstage presentation; and we always ensure we are singing FOR the audience".
With their ability to constantly change the presentation of Irish Evergreens and international favourites it is a very safe bet that their legions of fans will return time and time again to enjoy what is undoubtedly one of the most acclaimed shows to be seen on the Australian show-business circuit.
