When Joseph (Jules Sitruk) goes through all the medical examinations prior to his national service in the Israeli army it is discovered that his blood group does not match either of his parents, neither his doctor mother Orith (Emmanuelle Devos) or his colonel father Alon (Pascal Elbe). It's discovered that when Joseph was born he was actually given to the wrong parents. His birth parents Leila (Arren Omari) and Said (Khalifa Natour) are Palestinian living on the West Bank, and their son Yacine (Mehdi Dehbi) who has just returned from studying in Paris, actually belongs to Orith and Alon.... Or does he?

The fathers find it hardest to deal with the situation, the two young men, each in their own way try to accommodate their new identity.  But Yacine’s brother (Mahud Shalaby), is angry.  This well-meaning film explores the question of identity within the context of a difficult political situation.  Director and co-writer, Lorraine Levy has compassion in her heart and really makes you feel for all the characters caught up in this heart- -wrenching dilemma.
