Big, bight, bubbling, The Wizard of Oz isn't just a pantomime, it's
a classic children's story that introduces some wonderful characters.
In the Indee Theatre production you'll meet Dorothy and her faithful and funny dog Toto, the Mayor of Munchkin Land and all the Munchkins, the Straw Man, the Tin Man and the very Cowardly Lion.
You'll join them on their journey to find the Wizard, along the Yellow Brick Road, as they try to evade the Wicked Witch of the West and Eric the Very Bad Elf.
This production of The Wizard of Oz is packed with spectacle, with songs and dance and plenty of laughs. It's great family entertainment
tailored to suit the family budget. The Indee at Eumundi's continuing low family price of $10 all seats, all ages, plus free popcorn for the under 12s, makes it outstanding value. And to top it off youngsters who attend in dress-ups will be in the draw for a giant remote-controlled fire engine (for the boys) and a FurReal cat that's quite lifelike (for the girls).
Sessions are 7pm Friday (8th) then 4pm on Saturdays (9th, 16th, 23rd) and 11am and 3pm on Sundays (10th, 17th, 24th). It's table seating and air-conditioned. Check the website for table availabilities - www.eumundilivetheatre.com. The Independent Theatre, Memorial Drive, Eumundi. 5472 8200.
