Event -  " The Wonderful World of Bats"


Location - Mudjimba Community Hall, Cottonwood Street, Mudjimba


Speaker - Dr Leslie Hall


    Starting at 6pm, a sausage sizzle will be followed by an entertaining

presentation by Dr Leslie Hall, (author and co-author of over 150 research

papers and two books on Bats) taking us through the lives of Australian and

International Bats and answering questions such as " Why do bats hang

upside down?"  " What does a tubed-nosed bat do with it's tubed nose?"

and " Did Dracula really exsist?"


Sizzled sausages, drinks and cakes will be available at low cost and admission to the talk is a gold coin per family.


Proceeds will go to Bat Rescue Inc. Sunshine Coast to help their work in rescuing, rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned bats on the Sunshine Coast.
