Easter Hols at the Library

The Noosa Library has colourful activities programmed in the Children's Section of the Library for the Easter school holiday break, including a Colour Day of spiral tie-dye workshopping and an International Smile Day belly dancing class.

The six and over set are invited to join the Colour Day crew on Wednesday, March 30th between 10 and 11 am.  Jacky Odell from Harmony Cooroy, who specialises in children's fabric dying tuition, will conduct a rainbow spiral tie-dye workshop.  Participants just bring along a white cotton T-shirt, pillow case or tea towel to learn how to make it into a rainbow.

International Smile Day will be Friday, April 1st (no April Fools invited) from 10 to 11 am.  Professional belly dancer Achara, who runs classes at Doonan for adults and children and recently participated in the Festival of Surfing, will teach girls of all ages how to belly dance.   Participants should dress up in their most colourful skirts and scarves.

For further information on both programmes, please contact Melissa Tong at the Library on 5442 4411.
