Caloundra Police, with the support of Bunnings Caloundra, Crime Stoppers and Caloundra Neighbourhood Watch Sectors, are holding a Turning the screws on crime event at Bunnings Caloundra on Saturday July 16 from 9am to 2pm.

Stolen number plates are regularly used by offenders in an attempt to conceal their identity when committing further criminal offences, including house breaking and stealing offences. Using anti-theft screws prevents theft as the screws can only be removed using a special tool.

Come along and have anti-theft screws fitted to your number plates free of charge by our team of volunteers.

A completed indemnity form will assist the volunteers on the day. The forms are available prior to the event from Caloundra Police Station, Bunnings Caloundra or can be downloaded through there: Turning the Screws Indemnity Form.
