The Adele Tribute Show was a sold out success last Sunday at the Majestic Theatre, Pomona

It was a major fundraiser to Save the Majestic, also provided the opportunity for Adele songsters to perform in this historic iconic theatre, where movies meet musical events. The 19 finalists chosen out of a field of 60 entries were able to perform their favourite 'Adele' song on the beautifully decorated stage.

With crowds queuing up at the door trying to get in early for the best seats, nervous girls in the green room warming up their voices getting ready to perform, the popcorn machine and bar buzzing, and the fabulous Buzz Luhrmann stage set, the audience was in for a Magic Majestic experience.

The Prize money of $500 for the Audience Choice was kindly donated by Bendigo Bank, the local Pomona Community Bank. Manager, Geoff Edwards thoroughly enjoyed the show and was there on hand to donate the prize money. The Majestic Theatre greatly appreciates the support of this local bank.

The Majestic Theatre is introducing art house movies and evocative documentaries and has its inaugural 'Film Buff' movie night on Friday night, 18th November. The Italian Comedy 'Like Crazy' has won several international awards and promises to be a hilarious night of fun. The first 'Top Doco' Night is on 24th and 26th Nov. It is "Black Hole" which discloses the corruption behind the scenes in the mining industry in Australia.

All tickets on line $10 or at the door $12. Pre-bookings or more information about the fabulous movies showing at the Majestic, check out the web page - www.themajestictheatre.com.au or call – 5485 2330.
