Players return to Sunshine Coast in preparation for Australian indoor hockey championships

Sunshine Coast Indoor Hockey along with the University of the Sunshine Coast would like to promote the Queensland Indoor Hockey Teams’ training sessions being held at the USC Sports Stadium on 3rd and 10th December 8-10am

RECENTLY NAMED 2018 Qld Open/U21 Men and Women Players, current Australian World Cup Members Clare Comerford, Lindsey Howard, Troy Rossiter and Aidan Campbell will be in action along with 2018 Australian Development team members Eden Jackat, Morgan Gallagher, Matthew Argent, Lachlan Sinclair and Jackson Willie as the players prepare for the Australian National Championships.

Training sessions are in preparation for Australian Indoor Hockey Championships being held in Goulburn NSW .”The event is expected to attract the greatest players from all corners of the country in the lead up to the 2018 Men’s and Women’s Indoor Hockey World Cup; to be held in Germany in February.

The event will run from January 2 through until the end of the month and will cover under 13’s through to Opens and Masters Divisions in both men and women. “, by Goulburn Post , 3rd August 2017.

 Many of the selected Qld players (listed and in photo below) participated in the SCIH 2017/18 Season Launch Exhibition Matches that were held at the USC Sports Stadium, on 8th October. The positive feedback to the Hockey Queensland Indoor Hockey Advisory Board about the SCIH Exhibition Matches and USC Sports Stadium facility contributed to the training session bookings.
