No rant this week, just an update on what is happening with our big changes at My Sunshine Coast Life! Pretty scary, well for me anyhow, one new staff member, and working with my daughter EEK! The time has come where we have had to bite the bullet and get more help, we now have Leone working with us here in the Office, and she is shaking up the joint big time with her ideas & enthusiasm!

Leone is already making big changes to the way we run our business and as Pat says, maybe it was the push along we needed. Due to the sheer volume of email and site traffic we tend to just 'cope' with the work load, Leone rocking in with her 'plans for the future' was a bit of a culture shock for us. Well mostly me, my main 'plan for the future' is actually seeing clear space in my email inbox. (I have faith it will happen one day). Jokes aside, it has been a pleasure having Leone in the office with us, we are all looking at what we do daily in a new light, and I wish we had done this sooner. Leone has been known to us for quite a while now as she used to advertise her business she sold earlier this year onsite with us, so also knows us from the other side of the fence. We have also found out since then that we have mutual friends we both respect which always bodes well.

We are having a 'Welcome Leone' Business Giveaway (look to the right), no mucking around with this lady, she is off to a flying start, and luckily for us, she is bringing her past (very successful) experience with her. She is family oriented like ourselves and a lovely lady so we are sure you will enjoy your future dealings with her..

We will soon be a real 'working family', thanks Labor for the idea... Our daughter Caitlin will be doing work experience with us over the School Holidays & Saturdays. Caitie will be answering the phone, entering events & data, and basically getting a taste of what it is like to be working in the real world. We are sure she will greet you pleasantly should you phone over the holidays, and of course, if you are having a Christmas or New Year community event happening, don't forget to send it through to us so Caitlin can get it up online.
