Regional Development Australia Sunshine Coast Inc.

Regional Development Australia (RDA) Sunshine Coast is part of a national network of 55 committees made up of local leaders who work with all levels of government, business and community groups to support the development of their regions.

RDASC works in consultation with the community, business, non-for-profit organisations and all levels of government, to articulate local priorities, identify and align resources, engage stakeholders and promote solutions. In doing this RDASC aims to support the growth and development of regional communities across the Sunshine Coast.

Further to this RDASC supports, promotes and disseminates information on government policy initiatives for the benefit of our local community. To this end, Regional Development Australia committees and Chairs have strong understandings of federal, state and local government policies and initiatives, and the ways in which local communities can engage with them.

This is why RDASC strives to take a leadership role in bringing together organisations to take advantage of government programs, policies and initiatives.

Regional Development Australia is your conduit between the levels of governments enable you to provide input to governments about the strengths and weaknesses of regional Australia. RDASC continues to support activities of both regional Councils in conjunction with State and Federal Government Departments that drive economic development and jobs for the region.
