Hello, I'm Tim Dwyer of Moffat Beach and a candidate for Division 2 in the Sunshine Coast Council election. Born in 1963 and raised in Caloundra with my 8 siblings, I'm proud of Caloundra and it's people.
My wife Kelli is also a local Caloundra girl and we have two young children, James and Daisy. We want our kids to experience the same community sentiment and natural attributes that we grew up with, and still enjoy today. I would feel deeply honoured if I were re-elected to the Sunshine Coast Council.
I'm the sitting councillor for the Division and I've worked diligently, with energy and passion, to seek the best outcomes for Division 2.
As the region continues to grow retaining neighbourhood character is important and I will continue to support that outcome. The 2104 Planning Scheme a case in point.
An integrated transport plan is essential, covering road networks, road infrastructure, public transport and parking. We must look to create better transport habits and implement better services to create an accessible and user friendly region into the future.
Caloundra's natural attributes and friendly atmosphere are essential ingredients and I want to ensure that both are retained for future generations.
My involvement in, and commitment to, a wide array of local government, business and community interests has given me a wealth of knowledge, and builds relationships resulting in a Council that's aware of and responsive to the needs of Division 2.
Authorised by Tim Dwyer, 11 Windsor Ave, Caloundra for Tim Dwyer (Candidate)
