University Of The Sunshine Coast

USC Australia (3)

Established in 1996, USC is one of Australia’s fastest growing universities and is home to more than 12,000 students.

USC offers more than 140 undergraduate and postgraduate programs in: business, IT and tourism; creative industries, design and communication; education; engineering, planning and science; health, nursing and sport sciences; humanities, psychology and social sciences; and law and criminology.

Study locations include campuses on the Sunshine Coast, Fraser Coast, in Gympie and Brisbane’s South Bank precinct, plus speciality international locations in the Melbourne and Sydney CBDs.

Students enjoy relevant, up-to-date course content and access to cutting-edge teaching facilities, including one of only four state-of-the-art CAVE2TM visualisation studios in the world – the first of its kind to be used for teaching and learning, rather than solely for research.

USC is the only public university in Queensland to earn five stars for teaching quality in the Good Universities Guide annually since 2007, and its staff have consistently been recognised with national teaching awards. With more than 17,600 alumni, USC has a strong record of graduate satisfaction and has recorded impressive gains in graduate employment outcomes.

USC’s international reputation for research is growing every year, with 14 research fields now rated at world standard or above by Excellence in Research Australia. Leading research areas include environmental science and management, nursing, biological sciences, ecology, agricultural and veterinary sciences, fisheries science and clinical sciences.
