If you've been thinking about starting a regular wellbeing practice or reinvigorating an established one we've got a great course to help you sow the seeds of new healthy habits. Join Andreas and Sarah for the nourishing practices of mindfulness, yoga and pilates in these great sessions.
Friday evening discover mindfulness practices as Andreas introduces the benefits of this ancient practice. This session gives you the opportunity to transition from the busy pace of life, breathe and relax in our tranquil surrounds. Slow down, quiet the mind and let go of everyday stress as you set the intention for a weekend of deeply caring for yourself.
Saturday Sarah will lead two classes:
The morning class will be about breath work, creating heat/warmth in our body through breath, moving on to a moderate flow, and finishing with a long yin style cool down. Balancing our mind and body through a type of yoga practice called yin and yang.
The afternoon class will focus on opening up our heart space, releasing tension in the hips and some spinal work all done slowly and mindfully with the intention to create a warm sense of peace within the body and mind.
Sunday morning Andreas will lead a pilates and yoga class exploring how these two styles can compliment each other to create a strong, stable core.
Work with both your body and mind to create a stable and balanced approach to life. This course is the perfect opportunity to meet our new yoga and pilates teachers and discover how you can benefit from our weekly yoga and pilates classes starting in September.
Please bring your yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes. Apart from the formal study programmes, Chenrezig Institute is a peaceful, calm and relaxing place to spend a few hours, days or weeks. Stroll along the bush paths, wander in formal garden, espresso in the cafe or a vegetarian meal.
