Australia's favourite food and wine festival to star in Noosa
Eighty of Australia's top chefs, winemakers and food critics will be joined by thousands of foodies in Noosa this May for what has become one of the biggest food and wine festivals in Australia.
The 2008 Settler's Cove Celebration of Australian Food and Wine festival will run from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 May and promises more wine tasting, food trails, degustations, cooking classes and live entertainment than ever before.
Award-winning chefs will team up with local restaurateurs, iconic winemakers and serious food writers - treating the public to three celebratory days of culinary creativity and digestive indulgence.
"If you take a handful of the country's most creative chefs, transport them to a beautiful setting and match their delicious dishes with the best in Australian wine and produce - you will begin to get a taste of what will be on offer this May in Noosa," Festival Director Jim Berardo said.
"This event inspires not only members of the public who get to sample the most amazing cuisine, but it ignites the passion of visiting and local chefs as they teach, cook, eat and drink wine together throughout the festival," he said.
