Thank you for your time in considering supporting the Mooloolaba Christmas Boat Parade for 2010, my name is James Thorogood and I am the owner of Seafood Cruise Mooloolaba and we have now taken over the parade from Mooloolaba Marina as they no longer wished to run the event, our aim is to make the event a great family day out every year and to build it up to be one of the best events on the sunshine coast's social calendar, hopefully with your help we will do just that.
This year the event is in aid of the Royal Brisbane Children's Hospital and Nambour Children's Ward and we hope we can make a small difference to some children's lives.
Last year the parade saw some 15,000 people line the shores of the mooloolaba to watch the parade and some 40 plus vessels competing for various sponsor donated prizes, as stated above we are seeking sponsorship in various forms to make this year's event bigger and better than ever before.
This year the parade has already secured Hot 91.1 as our official radio partner who have kindly donated some $18,000 worth of air time for our event and sponsors leading up to and during the parade. We have submitted an application to council to allow us to hold formalities and vendors at la balsa park to encourage families to spend the afternoon, we also have several other exciting stunts planned for the day including children's competitions and giveaways which will hopefully make for a memorable day out for the local community.
We would be grateful if you and your company helped us in the way of sponsoring our event.
Please feel free to have a look at the official website for the parade at www.seafoodcruise.com/boatparade.html
Below are the various sponsorship levels and once again thank you for your time in considering this worthwhile event.
