A Taste Of Coolum 2013

Welcome to the 2013 Palmer Coolum Resorts' A Taste of Coolum. This year promises to be another great three day weekend event of golf, wining and dining. Friday 21 will kick start the weekend celebration with A Night in Paris set in the Village Square. A French inspired themed event showcasing classic and quintessential French cuisine.

The world class Championship Golf Course will challenge and entertain the Winemaker's Cup Golf Tournament on Saturday 22. Enjoy a 9am breakfast before a 10am tee-off.

Our signature restaurant, The Captain's Table will play host to The Winemaker's Dinner on Saturday evening from 6.30pm. Enjoy a sumptuous 6 course degustation dinner hosted by South Australian winemaker Geoff Merrill. Learn from the experts on Sunday 23 at the Chef's Alfresco while sampling the world's best wines, sparkling champagnes and international cuisine.

A Night in Paris

$95 per person, including food & beverage

Join us in the Village Square for A Night in Paris. A French inspired evening showcasing classic and quintessential French cuisine from our food stations. French onion soup, freshly baked crusty baguettes, coq au vin, beef bourguignon, cheese, souffles and crepes will tantilise your taste buds.

Wine Makers Cup Golf Tournament


9am Breakfast | 10am Shotgun Start
$150 per person, including golf, food & beverage

One of the most enjoyable tournaments on our championship golf course returns. Winemakers and wine lovers alike will be challenged on our world class greens and fairways for an Ambrose competition with great prizes. Breakfast will be served from 9am and light refreshments including food and wine tasting stations will be featured around the course.

Something Old, Something New - Winemaker's Dinner

6.30pm - 11pm
$175 per person, all inclusive

Enjoy a sumptuous 6 course degustation dinner hosted by South Australian winemaker Geoff Merrill, showcasing the very best of established Old World wines and New World wines. Compare the difference between traditional French and Italian wines and varieties from Australia, New Zealand and Chile.   

Sunday 23rd of June

Chef's Alfresco

12 noon - 4pm
$95 per person, inc food & beverage
(Sparkling Garden additional)

Spread throughout the Mt Coolum Room, Pavilion and surrounding gardens, Chef’s Alfresco offers a chance to sample wines, meet the winemakers, learn from the experts and enjoy international food stations all within a breathtaking setting.

Complementing Chef’s Alfresco, the Sparkling Garden gives you a chance to sample some of the world’s best sparkling wines and Champagnes.
