Artist Christopher Hardwick will be back in Australia after almost a year in Tanzania, to share some of his adventures helping to set up a jewellery school for an NGO and sharing his jewellery making skills. He is bringing Emanuel Mbise from the school who is an artisan in contemporary jewellery and traditional Tanzanian beading and knotting techniques. This special fund raising event on Friday 20 October - in the CWA hall Eumundi will be a taste of Tanzanian food, fashion, jewellery with a presentation from Christopher. Cost $15.00 per head. Cash bar available.

Saturday 21 October will find Christopher and Emanuel at their popup stall in the Eumundi Markets.

Sunday 22 October they will be at Wan’din’in Arts Space behind Discover Eumundi - 10am to 2pm where there will be an array of fabrics, clothing, jewellery, uncut gemstones, paintings among other items for sale. Emanuel will be demonstrating traditional Tanzanian beading and knotting techniques.

These events are supported by Discover Eumundi Heritage and Visitor Centre.
