U2 has just about touched everyone in one way or another, whether it be through their music, live performances or charity work. Throughout the group's musical pursuits, they have maintained a sound built on melodic instrumentals, highlighted by The Edge's timbrally varied guitar sounds and Bono's expressive vocals. Their lyrics, often embellished with spiritual imagery, focus on personal themes and socio-political concerns.
U2 have released 12 studio albums and are among the all-time best-selling music artists, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide. They have won 22 Grammy Awards, more than any other band, and in 2005, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility. Rolling Stone magazine ranked U2 at number 22 in its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
With all those achievements it is no wonder that since 2004, The U2 Show - Achtung Baby have performed their tribute show in front of thousands of U2 fans across Australia and Asia. They have gained an outstanding reputation as one of the best tribute acts today making appearances on national TV, radio and performing at some of the country's largest and most prestigious events. The show is a fully choreographed two hour performance of U2's greatest hits incorporating costume changes and mind blowing visual effects as seen in actual U2 concerts.
With an extensive and ever growing repertoire you are sure to be captivated from the moment the boys step onto the stage. The quality of the music, costumes, visual effects and stage performance makes them a tribute show not to be missed.
Achtung Baby comprises of Michael Cavallaro as Bono on vocals, guitar and harmonica; Peter Kalamaras as The Edge on guitars, vocals and keyboards; David Attard as Adam Clayton on bass guitar; and Craig Jupp as Larry Mullen Jnr on drums and sequencing.
