Using permaculture principles learn effective techniques to build a sustainable food producing garden that you can apply to your own home.

Join the Living Classroom Project team for our adults interactive Permaculture Workshop designed to get you growing your own sustainable food garden. 

You will learn the basics on how to build nutrient rich soil, design low-maintenance vegetable gardens, understand water harvesting techniques, prepare and cook food in a sustainable way and acquire the right permaculture principles that will change the way you look at gardening forever!

Our workshop is delivered on a beautiful permaculture farm where you will see design in action, get first hand experience of working permaculture practices and practical examples that you can take home to inspire you.

Our qualified permaculture teachers Aaron and Dan will provide you with an amazing insight into what permaculture is and how it looks in action. You will also be inspired in the kitchen with Vanessa as we look at sustainable food practices, cooking for our health and share a delicious lunch.

This workshop is designed for those new to permaculture who want to be inspired and learn more about the kinds of practical strategies that leads to a regenerative and sustainable way of gardening, caring for our environment and for our own health.

You will finish the day inspired and empowered to go home and grow, harvest and create healthy food for you and your family.

We give you:

  • Take home information sheet and recipes
  • Sustainable gardening and cooking tips
  • Broader understanding of Permaculture principles and how they apply to everyday life.

What can I bring into the event? 
Wear enclosed shoes and comfy clothes 
Please bring a water bottle and snacks. Lunch and tea/coffee will be provided.

What's the refund policy? 
We need a minimum of 10 participants per session to run the workshop. If we do not meet the required numbers for a session we will endeavor to move ticket holders to an alternative day/workshop. If an alternative date does not suit we will refund your ticket price for the cancelled class. 
Tickets can be refunded up to 7 days prior to event. After that no refunds will be issued for a workshop that is going ahead.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, digital tickets are preferred. 
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? 
If for any reason you cannot make the date you booked you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else. Please let the event organisers know the change of name of attendee prior to the event. 
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? 
Yes this is ok, but please let event organisers know prior to the event if there is a name change. contact us on
