The Queensland Air Museum will come to life when it fires up its collection of operational engines and aircraft in a special display of aviation horsepower. Imagine the awesome sight and sound of a 1500 horsepower 14 cylinder radial engine powering up; not to be missed!
The Museum’s operational engines and aircraft cover a wide variety of designs dating back to the 1930’s. They range from a diminutive 40 horsepower/4 cylinder Continental A40 engine up to the massive 1500 horsepower/14 cylinder Pratt & Whitney R-2000 radial engine from an RAAF Caribou aircraft.
Bring the whole family for an unforgettable day out;
