Coast legend to play 'Whodunnit' Lead Role
At just over three score and 10 years, Nancy Kinmond is probably giving Miss Jane Marple a couple of years, however, that's where the similarity ends.
Nancy is playing Miss Marple in the classic Agatha Christie Murder mystery "A Murder is Announced" at the Lind Lane theatre.
Don't let the age fool you! Nancy won the best Director Award for her direction of the 2006 STA Award winning Performance of the year "Mack and Mabel".
On stage since the age of 8, Nancy danced at Troop concerts during WW2 in her native Scotland. Coming to Australia she soon made a name for herself Acting and Directing in Shepparton and country Victoria. 10 years on regional Radio and Television were an ideal showcase for her interest in, and love of, life and humanity.
This "joy of life" is Nancy's trademark and while by nature more exuberant than Miss Marple , Nancy the actress has all the subtle nuances of the busybody amateur detective.
Nancy is but one of a cast of 10 Coast Actors who are in the throes of rehearsal for this classic Whodunnit!.
Don't miss it.
