Each year we aim to make our AGM especially interesting and this year will not disappoint. On Wednesday evening, September 18th, Transition Manager, Peter Franks will give the latest news about the Transition progress, followed by our global café style workshop with Allan Bonsall. This workshop aims to identify new ideas, to build on community aspirations to date, and consolidate them into a collective community vision, as we move towards, “The Next Chapter for Noosa”. Allan facilitated the pre referendum community workshops and will give an evocative presentation reflecting the key messages from these earlier workshops to inspire members before we break out into small discussion groups to develop the vision into a visual map of what we value about Noosa and want to see more of into the future. The results of the workshop will then be presented to Noosa’s aspiring candidates and later to the elected Mayor and councillors, for their consideration.
You are encouraged to bring along photos, drawings, recordings or anything that helps to prompt your thoughts to share with others, about why you are passionate about the Noosa region and what the community should fight to protect! You can email written snippets or images (reduced resolution only please) to firstname.lastname@example.org
