Experience an evening of music, film, drama and learning all for a good cause. Join performers and experts, as they raise awareness and funds for the plight of the koalas in SE Queensland. Come and be a part of changing the future as we endeavor to save our unique and beloved koala. Our children and grandchildren deserve the right to witness this amazing species in their lifetime.
Together we can make a difference before it is too late. As it stands now, there are only 3 koalas left in Noosa National Park. The current decline in numbers throughout SE Queensland is similarly shocking.
The evening will include the world-wide premiere viewing of a new documentary film created by LSV (Livesmart Videos) entitled “Making Room for Koalas”.
There will also be an original dramatic physical theatre performance created by cast members and friends of Noosa Arts Theatre: “The Last Wild Koala”
Local singers and songwriters Nina Centaine and Josh Halverson will share their original songs inspired by their passion for this beloved marsupial and the Australian experience. There will also be a raffle of locally donated items and services.
