Funds up for grabs in Annual Grants program
Community groups have an opportunity to access funding of up to $2000 and up to $400 for individuals through Caloundra City Council's 2007/08 Annual Grants Program.
Caloundra City Mayor, Don Aldous, said Caloundra City organisations and individuals who make a positive contribution to the community are invited to apply for the grants.
"Council's Annual Grants Program assists local groups and individuals who provide a wide range of services, facilities and developmental opportunities for the wider Caloundra City community," Cr Aldous said.
"The work that all these organisations and individuals do for the community is often limited by money, which is why Council's Annual Grants Program is such a valuable avenue for assistance.
"It's important that Council continues to recognise the positive contribution made by these organisations and individuals to the quality of life in Caloundra City."
Funding is available in four categories: Community Services, Culture & Heritage, Environment, and Sport and Recreation.
