Explore the botanical gardens through your own lens, a workshop for ages 10 - 17 years.  Participants will be guided in the use of digital camera/iphone to work like a professional, and will take part in the practical disciplines of photographic media.

Local award winning photographer Cheryl Nonmus (AIPP Master of Photography) will present key points relating to 'elements of design' which make stronger compositions. Exploring the shapes, textures and colours of the Gardens, participants will look for interesting subjects to capture, transforming them into pieces of visual imagery, using wide angle and macro techniques.

The workshop starts and finishes at the lake (on left near the entrance of the Botanical Gardens), for an awesome outdoor experience, weather permitting.
