The Art, WellBeing & Bush Tucker Day is Kin Kin's newest inaugural event to be held on Sunday the 28th May 2006. This is an official event of the Noosa May Fiesta.
Kin Kin's Art, WellBeing & Bush Tucker Day committee is now calling for expressions of interest from potential industry specific stall holders.
Throughout the day there will be children's activities, dreamtime story telling, exhibition by Noosa Art Trail Artists and surrounding established Sunshine Coast artists, their works can be purchased on the day.
Aboriginal guided Bush Tucker walks including medicines, useful plants and bush foods. Bush tucker introduction and cooking demonstrations. Bush tucker plants for the home or commercial grower. Loads of tasty bush tucker foods & organic foods to try. Attend a traditional spear making workshops, adult drawing & painting workshops or drumming workshops running through out the day. 3pm, an open invitation to attend the drumming circle.
Information & a wide range of health products and services available including free health checks, reflexology, reiki, remedial/relaxation massages, facials, life coaching, naturopathic and aromatherapy treatments and organic products Life style demonstration performed by clubs and organisations from across the Sunshine Coast including Karate, gymnastics, tai chi, aikido, yoga, ka huna and the Sunshine Brass Band.
