A site-specific installation of painting, assemblage, sound sculpture and performance. Experience Artefacts as an exhibition or interactive landscape of sounds.
Artist in Residence
Colin Offord will be in the gallery at various times during the exhibition presenting artists talks, workshops and performances. Interactive tours, led by Colin, can be tailored for specific age and interest groups and can include talks, demonstrations, performance and music making. School and group bookings are welcome.
Improvised Music Workshops
Explore improvised music using Colin’s original instruments and sound sculptures in a non-confrontational approach to music making. The workshops are suited to people of any age or level of skill from beginners to professional musicians. Improvisation is an excellent way to compose, to develop ideas, listening and teamwork as well as an end in itself. These workshops are conducted by Colin and Yilan Yeh from Curlew Republic.
