Theatre Restaurant Buderim War Memorial Hall
The Lions Club of Buderim will host a theatre restaurant on Friday evening 4th May to celebrate the Back to Buderim Weekend. The show, produced by BATS Theatre Company was devised by Bruce Olive and will be a tour through Buderim
history to the present…:Buderim-150 Years Comes to Life• It will be an interactive live and visual presentation introducing our audience to our forebears and the development of Buderim.
An excellent sit down meal is being catered for by le Baroque Restaurant of Buderim. The venue will be fully licensed. Doors open 6.30pm.
This will be a great night. but seating is limited,so get in early to avoid missing out. lickets are available from Le Baroque Restaurant and the Old Post Office in Buderim and must be paid for on booking.Cost is $60 per person including dinner.

World Labyrinth Day with walk at St Mark’s Anglican Church with guides and information provided. At 5pm in the church there will be a service in the style of Taize for young people (teenager/young adults) in the form of a candlelit service featuring musical pieces used for meditation and prayer.

Needles, Knots and Nibs organised by Buderim Craft Cottage Group.
A joint display,demonstration and sale of items from the Machine Embroidery Group,the Spinners and Weavers Group and the Cottage Calligraphers.Bl50 tea towels by the Calligraphers will be on sale.

Buderim Mountain State School Reunion in the school grounds.
Reunion of all year levels from the school. A great day to catch up with long lost friends. Displays of photographs,tours of the school, classroom display, and entertainment along with food and a cuppa to wash it down with. Registration of past pupils from

Formal Launch of Back to Buderim Weekend in the pine forest at Buderim Mountain State School. Past students will be encouraged to gather in decade groups. Weather permitting the B150 balloon will be launched.

Indigenous and Kanaka historical display at Buderim Mountain State School organised by SAILS. A 15 – 20 minute DVD will showcase the Indigenous history of Buderim.

B150 Dance in Buderim War Memorial Hall. ’Reliving the 60′s Dance’. ‘Wrinkly Rock’ featuring Evan Russell,Class of’63- Buderim Mtn SS.
Organised by the Class of 62-63.Some old time dances and novelty acts … Walt through to Rock ‘n Roll with many 60′s popular tunes. $25 with light supper. Bar available.
