Noosa Springs personal trainer Ray Brown is about to lose the lot – his hair that is.
Ray is getting his head shaved at 7am on Wednesday, January 18 at Bounce Hair & Image, Harvey Norman Centre, Gibson Road, Noosaville.
Ray is shaving the lot to support his long time personal training client Lizzie Lyn who is fighting her seventh bout of cancer.
Lizzie is a Noosa Springs gym member has been training with Ray for the past nine years.
Ray said he was doing it to let Lizzie know that people are rallying around her.
“The chemo must be so harsh on her body and losing your hair is not much fun for anyone – especially a woman in her sixties,” Ray said.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to Sunshine Coast Community Hospice Ltd Katie Rose Cottage, a community palliative care nursing service.
“This may be my last haircut, I don’t know if it will grow back,” Ray joked.
If you’d like to see Ray ‘lose it’ and make a donation, please confirm your attendance to firstname.lastname@example.org.
