The ocean is our life support system. Plastic pollution is one of the biggest threats facing the Ocean so we need to help protect it.
By joining a beach clean up you make a direct positive impact to the Ocean by removing trash before it can cause harm to marine life and the health of the Ocean. Join the Sunny Coast Marine Debris team to clean up the top of Alex Headland.
We will be meeting near the Korean Veterans War Memorial/HMAS lookout. There are stairs which lead down to either Mooloolaba beach or Alex Heads direction and plenty of park and walkways to clean up before the toxic debris makes it's way to the Ocean.
