Bettina Arndt - Bedtime stories
Across the world, the story is the same. Sex scandal. Media frenzy. Another prominent man caught with his pants down. So why do men take such risks for sex?
Bettina Arndt trained as a clinical psychologist before becoming one of Australia’s first sex therapists. It was sex that first made her famous. As editor of the influential Forum magazine, she spent 10 years talking about sex on television and radio.
She then moved on to writing about broader social issues as a nationally syndicated newspaper and magazine columnist and feature writer.
She is the best selling author of Private Lives, All About Us, Taking Sides and The Sex Diaries. Her latest book What Men Want in Bed lifts the covers on men’s longings, fears, frustrations and joy in making love.
Heather Ewart, political editor of ABC-TV’s 7.30 Report, will introduce Bettina. This will be a Celebrity Lunch to remember when Bettina draws on her fascinating and extensive experience – as a sex therapist and public speaker – to present unique insights into why sex matters so much to men.
