Gallery staff has been inundated with parcels from all over Australia and overseas, all of which will find their way in the 9th annual artists' books exhibition at Noosa Regional Gallery. This year well over 100 artists will be exhibiting their work based on the theme "Image as Text as Image".
A seminar in the Council Chambers on September 9 will bring together artists and participants, with speakers such as Dianne Fogwell (Canberra), Martin King
(Melbourne), Stephen Spurrier (Toowoomba), Glen Skien (Mackay), Helen Cole (State Library Queensland) and Kate Ford from Euraba Paper Company in Boggabilla, Australia's first indigenous paper company.
The weekend of the 10th and 11th September will be a hive of activity at Wallace House, Noosa Regional Gallery and the Cooroy Butter Factory with workshops with print maker Glen Skien, local book artist Di Tait and members of the Boggabilla aboriginal community, representing the Euraba Paper Company.
