A Taste of Greece..
Everyone is invited to attend Bribie's annual Greek 'Paniyiri' which will be held on Sunday 24th August at Third Ave Woorim from 10am - 4 pm. This spectacular Paniyiri is billed to be bigger and better this year.
Greeks are renowned for their hospitality, love of good food, mouth watering sweets and lively dance. Sink your teeth into a succulent souvlaki, try some authentic Greek wines, taste delicious baklava and honey puffs or learn to dance the "Zorba". It's a fun filled day for all the family!
The impressive line up includes, Jim Prineas and his Havale band, DJ Kossi, "Elvis Parsley" and live performances by Hellenic Dancers and other traditional dance groups.
Play at the "Children's Fun Zone". The one day festival will include Greek craft displays, food, beer and wine stalls and coffee shops. Raffle tickets and Lucky Door Prizes will be drawn on the day. Come tickle your taste buds and experience all things Greek…..
Come and see our Greek cooking demonstrations and hear Professor Bob Milns speak about the Ancient Olympic Games.
All proceeds raised will go towards the Bribie Isand Youth Camp.
