Buderim, the beautiful Garden Town of the Sunshine Coast invites you to Spring into a Festival of Fun at the Buderim Garden Festival, an action-packed weekend on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September.
Discover Buderim's delightful blend of village life and natural beauty while taking in the Festival's Stepping Stone Tour that will include: free live music and street entertainment, a flower show, six open gardens, water-wise displays, plant and market stalls, garden centres, bush breakfast, historical displays, boutique shopping, carnival rides, fine art and sculpture, fine food and wine plus fireworks — and all in one convenient location with most events within walking distance of each other.
Don't miss the chance to meet the Festival's special guest, gardening expert Colin Campbell, from ABC TV's "Gardening Australia" and Radio 4BC's "Talking Gardening" on Sunday afternoon from 2pm at Buderim's War Memorial Community Hall. To help you explore everything at the Festival a bus supplied by the Buderim Tavern will stop at selected venues from 11am-4pm on both Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September. The Buderim Garden Festival is an initiative of the Buderim Tourism Action Group in conjunction with Buderim's community and business groups.
Festival brochures with map and calendar of events are available at Tourist Information Centres on the Sunshine Coast and Buderim's Old Post Office Community Information Centre, open 10am to 4pm during the Festival.
