Coolum Community Native Nursery invites you to join Veronica and Graeme from Witjuti Grub Bushfood Nursery for a workshop on how to create a Bushfood garden. Free. Bookings essential.

Awards recognising the achievements of residents and business owners who have made a positive contribution to the environment. Awards are offered for excellence in innovative building design, sustainable transport, food production, and energy efficiency. Celebrate and share in some locally produced food and wine. This is a must see! 'Food Inc.' is a documentary by Emmy Award-winning director Robert Kenner. The film considers corporate farming and its degree of environmental sustainability.

5 June         Art on the Wind
A major kite-flying event celebrating an environmentally sustainable alternative to balloons. Kite painting and pavement art from 1.30 pm. Launch of event 2.00 pm, kite flying from 3.00 pm. Gold coin donation.
