With only four days until the biggest Carols event on the Coast, Santa is busy making his list, and checking it twice to ensure no one misses out at the annual Carols on Kings celebration on Saturday.

Caloundra City Mayor Don Aldous said as well as the traditional carols, the event, which kicks off from 1pm also includes children's rides and amusements, street entertainment, face painting, and a spectacular fireworks display.

"This year we've focussed on bringing together a great line up of local talent supported by an impressive guest list that includes Australian Idol favourite Bobby Flynn, and the coast's own Lyndelle, New York soul sensation Lisa Hunt, and the ARIA charting artist Zia," Cr Aldous said.

The event will be hosted by local identities Livio Regano and Justin Veivers from Seven Local News, and Hot 91's Ronnie.

Divisional Councillor Tim Dwyer, who allocated $10,000 to the event, said the annual event grew in popularity each year.

"I am pleased to be part of this great family tradition, which has quickly established itself as the biggest Carols event on the Coast," Cr Dwyer said.

"Its great to see the local community get behind and support this event, which is expected to attract in excess of 8000 visitors and locals to Kings Beach on Saturday afternoon."
